The HYBRID FLY LINE is what you want it to be! It is a shooting head with an integrated running line. You choose the option for what you want from this line. We can advise if you are unsure or if you are within travelling distance bring your rod along as we have these lines on reels ready to try on our lakes.

When choosing a line firstly choose your style of casting - Scandi or Skagit. Then choose the belly weight to match your rod. Then choose the length of the tip required. (Click on the belly weight chart in the images above).

Sooo -

If you have a Switch rod weighted #7 using standard Switch casting techniques you would choose the 23g/ 350gr belly line. Then you would add a 10' tip. Choose floating or any of the sinking densities depending on whether you want the line to float or whether you want to fish deeper.

If you have a Switch rod weighted #7 using a Skagit casting technique you would choose the 31g/ 480gr belly line. Then you would add a 12.5' tip. Choose floating or any of the sinking densities depending on whether you want the line to float or whether you want to fish deeper.

For a double handed rod weighted #9 and fished Scandi style you would use the 31g/ 480gr belly line with matching 15' tip in a density to suit the depth you want to fish.

For a double handed rod weighted #9 and fished Skagit style you would use the 43g/ 660gr belly line with matching 12.5' tip in a density to suit the depth you want to fish.

For a double handed rod weighted #10 and fished Scandi style you would use the 35g/ 540gr belly line again with a matching 15' tip to suit the depth you want to fish.

HYBRID TIPS work with all Hybrid, Hammer, TNT, ACE Skagit and ACE Switch shooting heads. When choosing the tip, you only choose the length you desire and density. You don’t have to think about the weight of the tip as that's done for you. Sinking Hybrid Tips utilise Vision's Sliding Density™ concept where the density increases gradually to the tip of the line. (Except clear Intermediate which is a full Intermediate tip).

Where we specifically offer next day delivery or for our tracked service we use a very reliable carrier on a next working day service but we cannot actually guarantee next day delivery perhaps due to the part of the country you live in or because of high pressure on carriers at certain times of the year.
