Product Description

These semi- machined Vision Hero Fly Reels have silky smooth but powerful disc brake, consisting a total of five discs from carbon and stainless steel. The spools in the smaller reels are released using a quick & easy screw release whereas the salmon size has a watertight and secure pop-out system.

Nymph & Dry
This Hero is the ideal reel for rods #3 - #5 when using standard WF or special nymphing lines. It has large arbour for quick line retrieve and its narrow spool spools the line nicely. The full body rim prevents the thin nymphing lines slipping into wrong places. This reel balances longer nymphing style rods perfectly. Colour: Black. Capacity: WF4 + 40m/20lb backing. Diameter: 95mm.

4/6 and 7/9
These standard Heroes are real all-rounders for all type of fishing.

4/6 handles traditional river and lighter Stillwater fishing with ease. It accommodates WF6F fly line with enough backing and its weight is matched to balance same weight rods. Colour: Black. Capacity: WF6 + 50m/20lb backing. Diameter: 95mm.

7/9 is a bigger brother handling everything from heavier river fishing to predator and lighter saltwater fishing. Colour: Black. Capacity: WF8 + 130m/20lb backing. Diameter: 105mm.

The Vision Hero Salmon fly reel is an affordable semi- machined reel with a similar look to the smaller-sized Hero trout reels. As this reel will face bigger fish and harsher conditions it features a more powerful and waterproof brake system. The brake consists of five carbon and stainless steel discs giving you a smooth, reliable and powerful brake. Everything is sealed behind O-rings to keep the water and dirt out. The frame has a full-body rim, so you can use thin running lines without fear of unwanted jams. The reel’s capacity is big enough for heavy Vision Hybrid lines, so you can rig this with any double-handed fly fishing rod. Diameter: 114mm.
