Toobies Shot
New from the USA and so simple! Kits contain two different sizes of tungsten based shot which is heavier than lead, but enviromentally friendly. Cut off a short length of the silicone tubing, thread it onto your leader and you can add or remove shot as required, using the magnetic Toobie-Tool. This new system doesn't damage the line and the tubing can be slid up or down the leader as required. When you want to fish "light", push the shot back out of the tube and onto the magnetic Toobie-Tool ready for use again and slide the silicone tubing up your leader to the nail knot or braided loop, where it will stay ready for use. Ideal for nymphing where you want to get down fast and allows instant adjustment of your fishing depth, as required. Can also be used to add or remove weight to Tube flies, using the silicone hook-tube. Simply fit a longer piece of tube then add shot as required.
